Great Leaders Understand The Type of Organisation They Lead. Different types of organisations require different types of leadership from their managers. Those managers who lead successfully analyse the type of organisation they are working for and lead their part of the organisation in a way that gets them the best results.
This course consists of 4 sessions:
Session 1: Leading in Different Organisation Types
In this session, we are going to look at three ways to analyse an organisation and identify what type of organisation it is. We shall look at organisations from three perspectives: commercial, structural, and cultural. We shall look at your leadership role using these three perspectives.
Session 2: Leading with Influence
In this session, we are going to show you how to be a great influencer. We will introduce you to techniques for influencing people at different levels. We will show you how to identify people’s preferred influencing styles. And we will show you how to use different influencing styles to best effect.
Session 3: Transformational Leadership
In this session, you are going to learn about how to be a transformational leader. To do that, you will identify transformational leadership, implement transformational leadership and manage conflict with an appropriate conflict management style.
Session 4: Leading for Competitive Advantage
In this session, you are going to learn about how to lead for competitive advantage. To do that, you will need to understand your organisation’s market-place, identify your organisation’s competitors, and manage organisation change.
